Chancellor's PBR speech
Alistair Darling gave his 2009 Pre-Budget Report speech to the House of Commons on 9 December 2009.
In this year's statement the Chancellor set out how the Government plans to support a sustainable economic recovery and to get more people back into work. He also explained how the Government intends to cut borrowing in half over four years.
